L’Arche d’Obi

Privacy policy

Document status

Informative English translation of a draft privacy policy that requires legal review before final publication. The French version is the reference text.

Data controller

L’Arche d’Obi, a French non-profit association (RNA W191007126), registered at 3 rue de l’Ancienne Forge, Mairie, 19500 Jugeals-Nazareth, France, is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: contact@larchedobi.fr.

Data and purposes

Forms may collect the contact details and information a person chooses to provide, including identity, email address, phone number, geographical area, the animal concerned and the content of the request.

This data is used only to review and follow up adoption, fostering, volunteering or contact requests and to communicate with their author. The appropriate legal basis for each journey must be confirmed during the legal review of this draft.

Services and recipients

Adoption, fostering and volunteering forms are external links to Google Forms: they are not embedded in the site as iframes, and the site does not store their responses. Responses are received in a Google account dedicated to the association. Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

When the internal contact form is enabled in the CMS, submission uses Formspree. Authorised association volunteers access only the information needed to handle requests.

Audience measurement currently uses Umami Cloud and remains a form of processing to document even when no cookie is used. Configured events deliberately contain no identity, contact details or form content. Session replay, heatmaps and collection of form content are not enabled.

Retention

Data is retained for a period determined by the purpose of the request and applicable operational needs or obligations, and not beyond what is necessary. The association must formalise and apply these criteria and perform periodic deletion.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction and object where that right applies. Send requests to contact@larchedobi.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr.
